Rebecca Schiff is an American writer, living in Brooklyn. She graduated from Columbia University's MFA programme, where she received a Henfield Prize, and her stories have appeared in numerous publications including n+1, Electric Literature, The American Reader, Fence, and Guernica.
Her debut collection, The Bed Moved, was published in the UK in 2016 to rave reviews: The New York Times said that 'her dark wit gives her stories genuine tensile strength… She dips into her own braininess as if it were a bottomless trust fund', while other reviews described the collection as 'powerful and poignant' and 'startling honest and wry… the arrival of a beguiling new talent'.
