GROWING UNDERGROUND is situated 33 feet under Clapham Common. It encompasses 65,000 square feet and was used during the Second World War to harbour 8,000 Londoners. It is now home to an amazing subterranean farm growing micro herbs and vegetables with the most amazing flavour, described by Michel Roux Jr as ‘explosions of taste’.
