Hannah Beckerman is an author and journalist. Her debut novel, The Dead Wife’s Handbook, was published in 2014, and was described in the press as ‘an astonishing triumph’, ‘original, evocative and achingly poignant’, and was selected as Heat magazine’s 2014 Book of the Year. She is a book critic for The Observer and The Sunday Express and a freelance feature writer for the FT Weekend Magazine. In 2015, she was a judge for the Costa Book Awards.
Hannah is 451’s Literary Editor, commissioning short stories and other written features. She lives in London with her husband and young daughter. Her new novel If Only I Could Tell You will be published by Orion Books in February 2019 with a third coming in 2020.
