'Every painting unintentionally is biographical. Through experience and reflection an expression evolves of what I have studied, thought, believed and discovered (particularly through my travelling). The intuitive cultures and minds I have encountered have increasingly reinforced my belief that a rigid quest for reality can rebuke the exuberance of early work and it is precisely the compulsion inwards to explore the infinite depths of the soul in which the central principle of creation is reflected.'
